Doors
They say that there are so many doors ahead of you. You’re young! You have so many options! But what do you do when those doors are locked and all you can see is whatever is visible through the peep hole? Then you stay in whatever waiting area you were thrown in, fumbling around with different keys trying to find out which one opens the door you want. Alas, you find that long-coveted key and open that door. But your obscured reverse view through the peep hole gave an impression of a magical place within. But upon opening the door and stepping into that room you find out that it is not where you want to be! So what do you do now? Take a few steps back and look at the other doors. Peak through each peep hole and try to get a better picture of all your options. But you never know until you get inside. Unsure of the possibilities ahead you sit and wait. Fumbling around with the keys you possess and contemplating which door to attempt to open. So you try each key. Fear washes over you as you come to the realization that you do not possess all the keys! Some doors remain locked and you must find a new way in. Suddenly you realize that though there are indeed so many doors ahead of you, not all of them are as easily accessible as the others. And sometimes the rooms that you thought you wanted is not what you expected to see once the door has been open. So what now? Pick an easily attainable place and make the best of it? Try harder to find the other keys to fit the seemingly more interesting doors? Perhaps you can knock to see if someone will let you in and take a peak? There is no right or wrong answer. But the fear of finding out what’s on the other side of that door should never stop you from trying to get in.
