The Headless Chicken

Perhaps the most busy body
she will surely be filled with complaints
of all the responsibilities she may have
and all the tasks placed on her plate
Her gait quicker than the Anachronism's
we often wonder why she must rush
But her presence in your cubicle
will bring about a your loudest hush
For she knows not of where to end
when trying to explain her tasks
she will go on and on trying to answer
what simple question you may ask
Yet mostly everyone here is aware
of her sad ploys and schemes
to pass on her work to others
however simple the task may seem
For to her all the menial jobs
will seem like the weight of the world
has been placed upon her shoulders
yes, we all find this truly absurd
In her long skirts and purple blazer
she can be easily spotted
and she finds a way to extend her breaks
way past the time we are allotted
For she will sit in the conference room
with a cup of coffee in one hand
discussing non-related topics
with her proud-chested friend
They will sit there for almost an hour
after most of us call it a day
which makes us all wonder
how much they each have to say
While the manager is still present
so important and busy she will be
but as soon as everyone has gone
her true employee colors you will see
